Features that no other floor system on the market offers

At North American Hoganas, the Bergvik Iso Floor has been used as a standard for all the electrical power distribution rooms for the last several years. Tom Kring, Electrical & Automation Engineer at North American Hoganas describes working with Bergvik and our products:

The Iso Floor system provides many added values, including maximum flexibility, as well as unrivaled stability and strength. By using the Bergvik floor, we don’t need separate equipment stands for support of heavy Switchgears and Transformers. We simply mount these types of equipment directly on top of the rigid and beefy sub-structure and frame it in with 1.5” square tubing on top, to create an ”open bottom access” for cabling.

With Iso Floor we can install the sub-structure first, without panels. Once all electrical installations under the floor are completed, the floor panels are installed. The system uses less than half the amount of pedestals in comparison to other raised floors, providing more space for cable management.

Bergvik’s Iso Floor also offers multiple size panels to match the cabinet depths, allowing us to always remove panels in the service aisles without the risk of panels being stuck under the electrical cabinets. These features are something that no other raised floor system on the market offers.
