An obvious choice

Bergvik Iso Floor was the obvious choice of installation flooring for ECO DC. Bergvik Iso Floor's strength lies in its ability to be adapted for heavy loads, customised equipment and demanding spaces. In data centre environments, it is not uncommon to require large quantities of cooling pipes and other bulky equipment that can be difficult to fit under the raised floor. At Bergvik, we are experts in this field. Together with the customer, our skilled designers designed the project in a CAD environment, which makes it easy to coordinate with projects under construction in order to identify and rectify any problems. Bergvik Sweden AB manufactures the entire floor itself, from floor tiles to leg supports, which allows the design of the floor to be adapted so that it can always be optimally adapted to the space and equipment.

Project facts

Construction of the project began in 2018 in Falun and was completed later that year. The data centre is climate positive and runs solely on renewable energy. It has a very high energy efficiency rating, with a PUE of 1.15! Bergvik was involved in this innovative and environmentally friendly project from the outset, supplying and installing our raised access flooring for data centres.
